How to repair a Hyundai or Kia horn connector

Demonstrating a de-pin/re-pin of a horn connector for Hyundai and Kia select vehicles

In the following video, our pigtail pro demonstrates repair of part number L51B2, most commonly seen as a horn connector on a variety of Hyundai and Kia models. This type of repair is also known as de-pin/re-pin, most commonly used for smaller connectors like this 2-terminal one.

Notice how our pigtail pro is careful to remove the electrical terminals by simultaneously pulling the harness wiring while using a tool to release the catch of the connector, located behind the front housing.

Finally, be sure to take a look at our recommended connector repair tool kit, helpful for most models and connector types. The quality is comparable to the many leading brands but for a fraction of the price.
