The following video demonstrates repair of an L43A2 connector via de-pin and re-pin method.

L43A2 is one of the most common, top-selling connectors in the auto repair industry.

It’s most often used as a fog lamp connector in Hyundai and Kia models.

01:15 Use a screwdriver to remove the rear, secondary lock
01:35 Slide your screwdriver into the first cavity, pull the catch to the outside (away) from the pin
01:57 Once the catch is free, use your other hand to remove the wire

02:55 When preparing to re-insert the pins, check to ensure the catches are oriented correctly
