How to release "the catch"
- Remove the front face of the electrical connector (the green face shown in the video above)
- Identify the location of each catch
- Select a proper, safe tool to use (check out our recommended tools here)
- Gently place your tool in between the catch and the body of the pigtail housing and carefully lift-up
- As you lift up, carefully pull on the corresponding wire/terminal behind the pigtail. It's important to do this simultaneously, otherwise, you can damage the catch. For example: As you're lifting the catch up with your pigtail tool, you need to be (at the same time) gently pulling the wires out of the back side of the pigtail
