What exactly is a connector kit?
Automotive connector kits give you the flexibility of no waiting. Usually, when a pigtail is needed you just order online, call, text, email or live-chat.
If you're a high volume shop or see a large number of your vehicles arriving with damaged or missing automotive connectors, then a connector kit may work out for you very well.
How?
Like your common nuts, bolts or screws when you're repairing a vehicle these small parts are vital. And although a pigtail will be less commonly used compared to a common bolt, a pigtail can be the difference between severity kryptonite or a superhero.
Often, we'd see vehicles about to go home, delivered back to the customer. It's not until then that you realize you need a pigtail.
Ouch. That leads to days more of cycle time.
Or...
Even if you do catch a pigtail on the front end of your claim, you still have to go on a scavenger hunt to find a replacement pigtail (unless you contact us : ), wait, call a sublet company to install the pigtail (unless you watch our videos :), wait some more.
Instead...
You can have a connector kit in-house ready to go at a moment's notice.
What about the kit details?
Our smallest size kit contains 17 pigtails, although we recommend our 34-piece kit (2 of each pigtail, per slot).
Each kit comes with pigtails and wires installed with the seals and terminals. You'll also find a photo of each pigtail in your kit with its part number and a short description of what each pigtail is used for.
You can also type that part number into our website search bar and it will take you directly to that part's page.
Each page contains every fitment and function for each pigtail and also a repair video on how to depin and repin that specific pigtail.
