Best wire connectors for automotive

Automotive connectors can be called many things like pigtail, plug, terminal housing and of course, connector. Think of these as the legos that "connect" key components of a vehicle into the complex wiring system knows as an automotive wiring or wire harness. 

For example: Your vehicle contains a large wiring system (a few actually) throughout the entire body, underneath your hood, seats, lights and safety features. The connectors are the end pieces that you connector to these wiring harnesses to a specific function of a vehicle, like a fog lamp.  

Essentially the automotive electrical connector "connects" the wires into the actual fog lamp, the main function. 
This happens with all electrical components of a vehicle: headlights, side markers, keyless entry, ambient temperature and much, much more. 

There are many other key components to a connector that makes it work like the terminals or pins, seals, housing, "catches" and important tools to use.
