D81B3 is a 3-pin automotive connector which serves at least 65 functions for 19+ vehicles.

When inserting your pins/terminals make sure it's a clean fit or insert. You'll hear a "click" but if you feel any sort of tension do not force it in as it can damage the interior "catches"

Be very careful when lifting up on the catch. It's especially important to make sure you release the catch (by gently prying it up or away) while at the same time as carefully pulling on the back wires/terminals. *The catch is delicate so use extra TLC, or care.

Gently remove the front lock of the pigtail (the orange face in this case) by inserting a very small mini screwdriver and carefully prying it apart from the main body of the connector.
